Ingredient 1:
• 300 gr Medium protein flour
• 1 tbsp Tapioca flour
• 1 tbsp Powdered milk
• 1/2 tsp Baking soda
• 1 tsp Baking powder
• 2 tbsp Sugar
• 1/4 tsp Salt
• 375 ml Water
• 1 tsp Vanilla powder
• 2 Eggs, small size
Ingredient 2:
• 1 tbsp Water
• 3/4 tsp Baking soda
Toppings:
• Margarine - to taste
• Meses - to taste
• Cheese - to taste
• Sweetened condensed milk - to taste
How to Make
1. In a bowl, mix flour, tapioca, salt, sugar and powdered milk. Then mix well.
2. Add water little by little while mixing until smooth for 5-6 minutes on medium speed.
3. Add eggs and baking powder, mix briefly or mix well with a whisk. Let stand at least an hour or so so that the aroma is fermented and does not smell of flour.
4. Heat the small cake mold.
5. Add 3/4 tsp baking soda with 1 tbsp water, add to the mixture, mix well. Pour 1 tablespoon of the dough into the mold, flatten it against the mold wall. Pour quickly into all the mold holes so that they cook together.
Leave until the holes, sprinkle a little sugar, then close the mold, let it cook.
6. Remove, spread margarine while hot. Give toppings according to taste: Chocolate meses, sweetened condensed milk, grated cheese. Serve.
7. TIPS:
• Use new baking soda or if it has been opened no more than 3 months. If it's been more than 3 months, the baking soda will be weak and not perfect in developing the dough.
• The composition and texture of the dough will affect the consistency of the dough and the final result of sweet martabak.
• Check the mold by sprinkling water, if the water runs out immediately, it means the mold is hot and ready to use.
• Toppings can be changed according to taste, such as jam or bananas.
